Hey — I’m Mal! I’m so happy that you’re here.
I've always loved taking photos. My favorite thing about them is how they can quietly capture times that you didn’t know would be THE moments. The core memories. The times that you didn’t know were important until the seasons change and life goes on.
A photographer that I look up to recently wrote:
“Nostalgia is what I’m always after. I’m not trying to do anything but really give something to people to remember this time in their life. What I have found talking with past clients: They don’t ever remember what they were actually stressed about, but they do remember how it felt.
I’m always advocating just to let go.
We’ve had our own wedding too. Many who have had weddings can attest. That little hiccup, it wont even be a blip when you celebrate your tenth anniversary or when your child is born, or when you do that first Christmas as a married couple with your family. The future is letting go. So let the present you do the same. Because it will become the past you, and that memory is all you have.
Remember nostalgia is always the warm feelings. Not the worried ones. So think of how you will want to remember this. It might not be perfect. But it’s always from the heart.”

When you think back on THE memories, I hope that you can find some photos that look as warm as the moment felt.
Its me, Mal!
If you're looking for a friendly, laid back photographer, then we may just be the right fit for each other.
About me
When i’m not out and about taking photos or editing at coffee shops, you can find me at home with my most favorite guy, Paul.
We got married on a cold and rainy day in May in Ohio.
We stay busy between work and being residents in a leadership program at our church, but on our days off we love taking walks around town, playing with our nieces and nephews, rollerblading when its warm and having our friends over for a cozy game night with good food.
We hope to someday be the parents to a super cute puppy and just maybe a few kiddos too.
I am a follower of Christ, enneagram 3, ENFP, a wife, a daughter of an art teacher and a fundraising guru and sibling to my little brother, Colin.
